Aber abgeschafft gehören diese Subventionen allemal, und zwar nicht nur in Zeiten wo Dürren die Welternten gefährlich schmälern. (So hat die SZ es "Entwicklungspolitikern" und "Umweltwissenschaftlern" in den Mund gelegt.) In dem Text ist von "milliardenschweren Subventionen" die Rede.

the biofuels industry [in the USA] will, in aggregate, benefit from support worth over $ 92 billion within the 2006 - 2012 time frame.
